  1. I just saw this.. and I might be copying this idea. And OH! How could I forget that I can READ Anne!! I'm been wanting to watch the movies--but it's been even longer since I read the books!

And I have nothing good to add.. at least not today. But we should chat about the Life of Pi--I read it 09--crazy that book=)

    1. Amanda, let me begin by saying, I put off reading them for so long, because I held on to the idea that something so popular must be horrible. Except, I LOVED them. I read them twice. When I needed a great adventure to pull me out of the end of winter, sleep deprivation, where are we moving madness, this was perfect. I find myself missing the characters. It's crazy, but give them a try, you will see.

Now the movie, well, books are always better.

  3. I just found your blog through Booktalk & More and wanted to say that I love your reading list. Excellent taste. Would love to know your thoughts on Things Fall Apart. It's been a few years since I read it and I feel I should revisit it in light of Achebe's passing.

    1. Katie, Hello! I found Things Fall Apart to be a difficult read, as in I didn't engage that much, but I struggled through, until the end, which hits you right in the face with the whole message. Such a powerful ending.
